Terms of Service
Last updated: June 26, 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Klinico. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use Klinico.
1. Who We Are
Klinico is an educational platform that lets medical students practise OSCE history-taking with a simulated AI patient and receive automated feedback. The service is provided on an “as is” basis for learning and practice purposes.
2. Eligibility and Accounts
You must be at least 16 years old and able to form a binding agreement to use Klinico. You are responsible for the information you provide, for keeping your login credentials secure, and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorised use of your account.
3. Educational Use Only — Not Medical Advice
Klinico is a training tool. The simulated patients, scores, and feedback are generated for educational practice and do not constitute medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and must never be used to make decisions about real patients. Always rely on qualified clinical supervision and official curricula for real-world care.
4. Acceptable Use
When using Klinico, you agree not to:
- Use the service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms.
- Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, overload, or interfere with the service or its underlying systems.
- Upload real patient information or any confidential personal data about identifiable individuals.
- Share your account, resell access, or use the service to build a competing product.
5. Intellectual Property
Klinico, including its software, case content, checklists, branding, and design, is owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the service for your own learning. You retain rights to the content you create, and you grant us a licence to process it as needed to operate the service.
6. Availability and Changes
We work to keep Klinico available and accurate, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time, and we may update these Terms as the service evolves.
7. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Klinico is provided without warranties of any kind, and we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us, if any, in the twelve months before the claim.
8. Termination
You may stop using Klinico and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or use the service in a way that risks harm to others or to the platform.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable at our place of operation in Ramallah, Palestine, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes will be handled by the competent courts of that jurisdiction.
